Hello everyone,

This is John, and I’d like to let you all know that I’m still alive!

I’m having a lot of fun working with my son Kris, and actually it’s 
more fulfilling than I had thought. Having a light season with Petra 
this summer has allowed me to do some work on the side, and it’s been 
very enjoyable. It’s very strange having your son as your boss, but 
actually – it’s very rewarding.

I’m really looking forward to Fall and all the tour dates for Petra. 
Yes, it’s the final tour, but I think it will be very exciting.  I’m 
looking forward to seeing many of you as Petra closes out its final 
chapter.

After Petra retires at the end of this year, uncertainty can sometimes 
be scary, but when it’s in God’s hands – it can be very exciting. And 
so I’m looking forward to finding out what new and exciting things God 
has in store for me!

I want to thank you all again for your interest and concern in Petra’s 
ministry and my own. I ask you to keep praying for us, for Petra and 
our families, as we begin to close one chapter of our lives and start 
looking forward to opening another.
