Hi Everybody!

It's great to talk to you again... thank you for all the very, very
encouraging notes that I've been getting. It's so neat to know that I have
people that care about me and are concerned.

I will say that my family is very healthy and we're doing well. God is
blessing us financially to be able to pay the bills each month - and
that's a good thing!

We are starting on my solo record - we started at the beginning of this
month and hopefully it will be completed by the end of October. I'm very
excited about that!

I talked to Bob yesterday and he said he's very close to getting the
acoustic praise & worship record finished to the point where I can go in
and start singing on it. So alot of very good things are happening!

I just had an interview with James Robison of LIFE Today
(http://www.lifetoday.org/), which will be airing Oct. 19, so make sure to
check it out. Dorla and I got to fly to Texas and spend an evening out
with the Robisons, and that was a real thrill. We got to know them and
they are great people. They have a real ministry heart for the kids in
Africa, so if you watch their program - they're for real. It's really neat
to see an organization that cares and has a heart for kids.

Also I just got a call from Rick Derringer
(http://www.rickderringer.com/), who is now a Christian and is one of my
long-ago heroes. He was asking if I would consider singing on his new rock
album, and I'm real excited about doing that.

I guess a lot of things are going on!

The real estate is sort of sliding right now because I have to finish a
woodworking project; although I'm super-excited about it, I just haven't
been in the office quite as much.

Another big, big thing is that my wife and I had our 35th wedding
anniversary on Aug. 28 and that was a real neat thing!

That's about it, guys! Please keep praying for us; I know I'm being prayed
for because I can feel it. I know when I'm being prayed for because... you
just know it. I thank you all for loving me and my family and the Petra
ministry - and for caring. Please keep it up.
