Hello everyone,

We're pleased to inform you about the soon-to-be-released album by "II
Guys from Petra" (namely, Bob Hartman & John Schlitt)!

The following is a little background on the project, taken from
http://www.petraband.com:

At the time of Petra's retirement at the end of 2005, the future was
unclear for Bob and John. Both were pursuing other ventures outside of the
music business when Bob received an invitation from Canada to lead worship
for a youth retreat. Bob immediately thought of teaming with John, much to
the delight of the sponsors.

As Bob began arranging popular worship songs for the duo to perform, it
became obvious that it wouldn't be much harder to make an album together.
After several months of work it was time to christen the new venture. It
will be called "Vertical Expressions."

And now....a few words from Bob:

John and I are both so grateful for an opportunity to minister together
again. Truth be known, we have missed the camaraderie of traveling
together and sharing our faith.

What an age we live in! We see the Church in the United States under
tremendous political pressure and our attempts to please men have made us,
in many cases, a benign non-offensive shadow of the Church God wants us to
be.

Scandals have rocked our foundations and made us aware that the world, the
flesh, and the devil have gained an increasing foothold on our lives. John
and I believe the key to becoming overcomers is through worship. When we
experience true heart-felt worship in an atmosphere charged with the
presence of God, our lives can not help but change.

It is in this hope and belief that we have offered our talents and worship
to God in our album "Vertical Expressions." It is our prayer that it is an
offering acceptable to God and that those who hear it will have that
life-changing experience we know as true worship.
