PETRA REUNITES!

This Saturday, Dec. 1, Petra will reunite for a special outdoor concert in
Bosques de Palermo, Buenos Aires, Argentina, sponsored by “HYPERLINK
"http://www.rockandvida.com.ar/"RockandVida” in conjunction with HYPERLINK
"http://fh.org/aids"World AIDS Day. 

The concert has become an annual event; this is Petra’s first appearance. 

But RockandVida’s work extends far beyond music. 

RockandVida is an organization that reaches out to people throughout the
year who are in high risk situations (drugs, depression, AIDS, HIV, illness,
etc.) and accompanies them through their ordeal, giving them the means to
develop and change their lives through Jesus Christ.

RockandVida actively searches out high risk groups by going in where the
problem exists: back-alley streets, prisons, hospitals, low income housing,
plus schools, universities – wherever there is a need.

Each year their work is culminated by a music concert – not simply a rock
festival or event, but a massive effort to reach people with a message of
hope, faith, and Jesus.

II Guys from Petra (John Schlitt and Bob Hartman) will also make an
appearance Friday, Nov. 30 with “Seminar to Serve” in a customized
presentation geared towards the music professional and casual listener
alike. The presentation includes Petra’s beginning, its early struggles
within the church, an interactive question and answer period, and live music
from II Guys’ recent album “Vertical Expressions.”

Petra is proud to reunite for this special event in order to be a part of
RockandVida’s continuing effort to fulfill the Great Commission: “Go and
make disciples of all nations…”
