El sábado 1 de diciembre, “Día Internacional de la lucha contra el SIDA”, se
realizará HYPERLINK "http://www.rockandvida.com.ar" \n"RockandVida" en los
tradicionales Bosques de Palermo, en Buenos Aires, Argentina, y Petra se
sumará a esa causa.

Este recital, que se efectúa desde hace varios años, tiene como objetivo
fundamental alcanzar a aquellas personas que están en situación de riesgo,
ya sea por drogas, depresiones o enfermedades como el VIH/SIDA.

RockandVida es mucho más que un concierto, es un esfuerzo masivo para
alcanzar a las personas con un mensaje diferente, de esperanza y fe, el
mensaje de Jesús.

Cabe destacar que la tarea no es de un día y un recital, si no que, durante
todo el año se trabaja en calles, hospitales, prisiones, escuelas,
universidades, es decir en todo lugar donde existe gente con necesidades.

Petra se suma a la causa, no sólo con su participación en el recital, sino
también en el seminario “Para servir” que se llevará a cabo el viernes 30 de
noviembre en el auditorio Kraft, en el centro de la capital porteña.

Este seminario contará con la presencia de John Schlitt y Bob Hartman y
estará orientado a músicos profesionales como así también a oyentes
casuales. Entre los temas se expondrá la historia de Petra y habrá un
espacio para preguntas y respuestas, de manera que el público participe
interactivamente con el grupo. También habrá música en vivo, del reciente
material “Expresiones Verticales”.

evento sexta-feira, 30 de novembro, de 2008, com o "Seminário para servir",
uma apresentação customizada para os profissionais da música e ouvintes
casuais também. A apresentação inclui o começo do Petra, as dificuldades
iniciais da banda dentro da igreja, e uma sessão interativa de perguntas e
respostas, e música ao vivo do recente ábum dos II Guys, "Vertical
Expressions."
