The time and effort that I've put into this site has been a labor of love in appreciation of all the work and sacrifices John has made over the years in order to do what the Lord has called him to do - that is, to tell the good news of Jesus Christ through song.

John's music - both with Petra and his own solo projects - have impacted and enriched my life in so many ways, I can not even begin to explain it.

Ever since I first met him in September of 1994 in Milwaukee, I knew there was something special about this man. He had a story to tell - a story of God's reaching, of John's rejection and the Lord's redemption.

I wanted to give John an opportunity to share his testimony, and the Lord has allowed me to do just that, through concerts, internet message boards, newsletters and now this website.

All credit goes to my Lord Jesus Christ, who has given me the ability and talents to make it possible with this site for John to tell his story - which is ultimately His story.

How amazed I am at this whole thing. When I was fifteen years old rocking out to Beat the System, I never thought I would ever get to meet Petra any more than I would get to play tennis with the President of the United States. They seemed so big and important... what could I ever do for them? (Funny thing is, John Schlitt was thinking about the same thing at about the same time!) I am so blessed to be given the chance to take up where Curt left off and continue to help Sue make this site as exciting, fresh, informative and innovative as it has been since its inception. It's wonderful how God brought along people with the drive to give birth to this site... Sue and Curt... and then brought me along later at a time when my technical knowledge as a professional Web designer and programmer was needed.

My wife Cathy, who you see in the picture with me and John and our son Mikey, has been so supportive of me in this site, giving me the time I need to work on it and helping out herself when she could. She is an immense blessing to me.

I'm humbled at the chance to be a small part of the huge work Gad has done using Petra. Ultimately, when we are following Him we all are His instruments to use however He sees fit. What an honor to fit in this place at this time!

I am so excited to be able to help out with John's website. I have been a Petra fan for nearly my whole life, but when I saw Petra in 1998 at the Inside Out Soul Festival in NH, I became a PETHEAD.

Well, at that concert, I heard John sing "Adonai" and it totally rocked me, guys. The next time I see Petra in concert, I hope I can get a request in for Petra to do that song again. That and other awesome songs they played that night got me into music and ultimately I wanted a guitar. I soon got one later that year for my 15th birthday.

God has completely blessed me with my music skills, along with my skill in computers (which he has also blessed)... and I am very grateful to be able to use my skills for God to help bless John and his awesome website! I know I just contribute a small part to this huge website that has become way more than we ever dreamed, but it's still worth it to say I work with these awesome men and women of God and ultimately God! God Bless!

How blessed am I to get this chance? God is awesome, and he proves it to me daily. One of those ways is the opportunity I'm getting to design this website.

I've been a Petra fan since I was in Jr. High, right when Beyond Belief came out. I can remember sitting nights in bed while my little brother and we would sing each song until we fell asleep. The first time I ever spoke publicly, it was a salvation message based upon the song, "Beyond Belief." And when I returned from my "prodigal son" times, it was Petra's music that I looked for first.

This is my way of giving back to John for the past 12 years that his ministry has given to me. This is for how we are like brothers, we were both so lost, but Christ showed himself to us, and saved us. And one day I will sit with John and all other believers, and worship the Father forever. May He bless us until that day.
